Relax in comfort and style, at  The Chalets.

The Chalets can provide you with high quality four-star holiday cottages in Eskdale, close to the village of Boot.


Each chalet is spacious and beautifully furnished. Set in large, mature riverside gardens on the banks of the river Esk.  The Chalets have been awarded 4 stars by the English Tourist Board for self-catering accommodation. Each of our cottages is able to sleep four guests, with a double bedroom and a twin bedroom.  All Chalets have double-glazing and central heating, a modern bathroom with bath and shower over and a fully equipped kitchen. Larch is able to accommodate a very well behaved, house trained dog.  Each Chalet has a private, south facing deck with table and chairs for you to enjoy al fresco dining.

Family friendly chalets

The large living/dining area is a great family space. Books, DVD’s, games and magazines, comfy sofas, discrete lighting and a 32″ led TV with DVD player make the living room cosy and homely.

Self catering hoilday chalets

The fully equipped kitchen provides you with everything you need on your self-catering 

holiday. If the weather is right, why not use the BBQ area in the garden?

Spacious bedrooms

Each chalet has two generously sized bedrooms, one double and one twin. All the bedrooms are able toaccommodate a cot, which we can provide if needed.


The pristine bathroom contains a bath with shower over. Complimentary bath products and large, fluffy bath towels will help you to relax and unwind after a day out on the hills.

We offer great facillities

Should the weather be inclement, The Boot Room has a large drying rack, washing machine and tumble drier. There is also space in here to store children’s buggies,  bikes and any other outdoor equipmentthat you may bring.
